Training is an inseperable aspect of our company culture, and essential for improvement. As part of the Vigilance induction process, candidates undergo rigorous vetting and receive training in all aspects of the company’s operations, including our own in house company Health and Safety presentation and a full on-site induction conducted by a responsible manager.
Vigilance Properties is fully insured with its own Employer’s Liability Insurance and Public & Products Liability Insurance policies carrying indemnity limits of up to £10,000,000 for any one claim.
During the proposal process clients receive all necessary documentation to ensure their comfort with our service propositions. Copies of our compliance certificates, accreditations and company policies are available on request to ensure client comfort across all areas.

Ensuring the highest level of compliance is our constant goal, so all our operatives are highly trained, skilled and 100% individually SIA licensed to door supervisor level, or an equivalent SIA license.
Ensuring superior levels of service and industry leading standards are maintained at all times is paramount to us, and we want to make our customers aware of the need for top quality accreditation when buying services. For this very reason Vigilance elects to submit itself to the highest possible UK security audit standard, the NSI's Guarding Gold scheme. Twice each year NSI auditors scrutinise the company to ensure it continues to uphold these standards.
Beyond audit, overall responsibility for regulating the security industry rests with the Security Industry Authority (SIA). Its Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) is a further benchmark standard for security excellence, and one that Vigilance also maintains through its ACS passport certification. BSIA membership requires extensive vetting and commitment. Authorisation to display the BSIA logo is representative of quality, standards and professionalism. Vigilance is committed to achieving carbon net zero by 2030 and is making great strides in lowering our GHG emissions through innovative solutions. To show our dedication as a business, we have offset our current emissions through the purchase of verified carbon credits. As a result, Vigilance is a certified Carbon Neutral Business.
